Writing and Art Workshop
with Kiki Abrahamson
for grades 3-6

In conjunction with the 25th Kenai Peninsula Writers' Contest

Thursday, Oct. 13 & Friday, Oct. 14
1:30-3:30 both days
(KPBSD early release and inservice days)

On Thursday teacher Kiki Abrahamson will prompt students using Pablo Neruda‘s Book of Questions to create writings in fiction, nonfiction or poetry (their choice).

On Friday students will select one of their ideas to illustrate in a watercolor painting. Afterwards they will revise their writing using ideas that arose from the creation of their artwork.

$30 per student for both days ($25 for HCOA members)
