Find some smooth shoes for this Norwegian Rørospols dance workshop!

Learn from traditional Norwegian dance instructors Judy Patterson and Jerry Walsh as they walk you through the basics of Rørospols, a type of coupled Norwegian folk dancing. Live accompaniment by Rachel Nesvig on Hardanger fiddle.

No dance experience is required, all ages welcome! Just wear some smooth-soled shoes for easy turning, and low heels work best for safety and ease of dancing. Tennis or other such shoes are liability and make dancing difficult.

The HHS Green Room is across the hall from the Mariner Theater stage door. Access by the cast/crew entrance west of the loading dock, or if entering via the main entrance/commons, proceed down the first hall as if entering the theater audience, then continue past the theater. Directional signs will be posted!
