· Beginner Friendly Felting Workshop ·
Learn the basics of needle felting to create a wall hanging or magnet! After selecting a template from a range of mushrooms & fruits, students will learn to felt a base shape from core wool before completing their design with layered merino wool, finishing by adding a magnet or loop to the back for hanging.
Class will include:
· Getting to know needle felting materials: an explanation of different needle types and how to use them, different types of wool, what to buy and where to buy it if you want to do more felting
· Basic needle felting techniques for creating a firm and dense felt, and ways to layer/blend color.
Beginner friendly, for ages 14+
All materials provided, take home three felting needles in addition to your project
