This class is for participants with prior ceramics experience who want to explore the material through independent study.
All open studio participants must have proven basic understanding of the ceramics process and agree to abide by all studio rules.
Participants must receive approval before enrolling in open studio and youth grade 9+ must also provide a letter of recommendation from a previous ceramics instructor to receive approval.
There are only eight throwing wheels are available. With a maximum of 10 participants, there is no wheel reservation and all participants are expected to alternate off of wheels to share access for all.

Kiln firings are scheduled so that all studio participants can complete their works in progress. Open Studio Participants should plan to glaze and fire work by the end of the series.
Class fee includes clay (up to 12.5 lbs wet weight), glaze, tools, and firings.
Additional clay available through HCOA for $25/12.5lb.
