Applications are open for exhibiting in the Homer Council on the Arts gallery! We are currently accepting proposals for openings in 2023-24. Applications for the HCOA gallery will automatically be considered for the South Peninsula Hospital gallery as well (see more about this below).
Proposals for HCOA Gallery Exhibits must be completed by 5:00pm on Friday, January 20, 2022.
Artists in all media are invited to apply, with preference going to Alaskan artists and priority to those residing on the Kenai Peninsula.
Please make sure to carefully read our Gallery Exhibit Guidelines before completing your application. Feel free to contact us with questions before making a proposal at 907-235-4288 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We are also accepting proposals for exhibits in the South Peninsula Hospital gallery, managed by HCOA. The staff and patients at the hospital really appreciate having a rotating exhibit of artwork on the walls to add a cheerful element to the space. Please consider sharing your work as a service to these members of our community! SPH gallery exhibits also offer work for sale and typically include an online component.
The hospital exhibit is subject to our regular gallery guidelines as well as additional site-specific guidelines as noted. The gallery at SPH is a great opportunity for emerging artists, as well as a nice option for a reduced second showing of a collection that has been shown elsewhere.
Please use the same “Submit Proposal” button above and check the box to specify that you are applying for an exhibit in the South Peninsula Hospital gallery. Applications for the HCOA gallery will automatically be considered for the SPH gallery as well.
Applications for the SPH Gallery will be accepted on a rolling basis.
