***NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION ONLY- MAY 18-25!***

Ceramics classes fill up fast and we want to give everyone an opportunity to participate. If you or your child has been in a HCOA Ceramics class before, please DO NOT register after the 25th. Returning students will not be accepted until after the new student window has closed.

This four-session class will provide hands-on instruction covering the fundamentals of wedging clay, centering, opening, pulling up, and shaping your pots. You’ll learn about the stages that clay goes through – from wet, to leather-hard, to bone-dry and about the hand-tools used for trimming and creating texture on pots. Class fee includes clay (up to 12.5 lbs wet weight), glaze, tools, and firings. Additional clay available through HCOA for $25/12.5lb.
