Beginning Wheel Throwing
Tuesday Nights From 6:30-9:00 Pm With Robert Ostman
This five-session class will provide hands-on instruction covering the fundamentals of wedging clay, centering, opening, pulling up, and shaping your pots.
You’ll learn about the stages that clay goes through – from wet, to leather-hard, to bone-dry and about the hand-tools used for trimming and creating texture on pots.
NO CLASS September 26 (Bisque Week)
October 3rd (Glazing Day)
Class fee includes clay (up to 12.5 lbs wet weight), glaze, tools, and firings.
Additional clay available through HCOA for $25/12.5lb.
