Call for Art!

Have you taken a class in HCOA’s new ceramics studio since it opened in 2022?

This showcase is an opportunity for you to show off what you created in those classes and be featured in new a community group show!

How to  Apply:

Fill out the online submission form using the link above!

This show is open to anyone of any age who has taken a ceramics class or workshop from HCOA in 2022/2023.

Each submission must include:

• Artist’s Name
• Artwork Title
• Dimension of Piece
• Which class the work was created in

Optionally, you can also include:

• Artist Statement/Comment (80 words or less)
• Price *
• A Photo of the Work **

Each artist may submit up to three pieces.

*Selling artwork through the HCOA Gallery: HCOA takes a commission of all sales that occur through the gallery. The commission rates are 40% for non-members and 35% for members.

** HCOA uses images of work  for both print and social media advertising. Including a photo of your work is a great opportunity to receive added exposure!

Important Dates:

Submissions are open from July 9th through August 20th.

 Intake will be from August 21st – 26th.

Please drop off your work during our open hours of 1-5pm. All work must be dropped off in the HCOA office no later than 5pm Saturday August 26th. 

  The show will be up September 1-30th in the HCOA Gallery.

 There will be a First Friday Opening Reception from 5-7pm on September 1st 

We’ve had so many wonderful classes this year and that’s all thanks to our students. The Ceramics Showcase is a way for us to highlight our talented community. We can’t wait to see the wonderful work you’ve created!
