25th Kenai Peninsula Writers’ Contest
The writers’ contest judges are busy reading your entries and giving them careful consideration. We anticipate announcing the winners at the beginning of March. Thanks for your patience!

You must complete ALL 4 STEPS in order for your submission to be considered. Failure to complete ALL 4 STEPS will eliminate you from the contest.
- READ and FOLLOW the contest rules! Your entry fee will not be reimbursed if you are disqualified for failing to follow directions.

Click the appropriate “division” button below to upload a PDF of your submission(s) to Dropbox (will open in a new tab). You can add all of your entries to Dropbox at the same time. When you’re done uploading your entries, you may close the Dropbox tab. (Note: Dropbox will add your name to the filename- don’t worry, we will remove it.)

Complete the submission form below. There is no limit to the number of entries, but the submission form only has space for 5 at a time. To submit more than 5, you’ll need to complete an additional form.

Complete payment of submission fee. For multiple entries you must adjust the quantity to match. Entry fee is per submission.
HCOA staff will not check to make sure your entry complies with the contest rules- contest judges will determine whether or not your entry qualifies. It is your responsibility to follow directions. If you believe you have submitted an entry with a critical error, please contact us to resubmit PRIOR to the contest deadline. We cannot accept any corrections after the deadline (11:59pm on December 16, 2022).
