Staying home for spring break? Looking for something to do that lets you sleep in and then have a really fun afternoon?
Theatre of the Mind is a readers' theatre experience designed for young people who have an interest in acting, storytelling, production, writing, adapting, and technical skills involved in generating sound effects to produce a radio drama.
Drama elicits great excitement in young people and radio drama creates a bridge between mental and visual imaging through the conduit of sound.
The workshop is open to children who have basic reading skills up through age 13 years.
Classes will take place the week of spring break, starting Tuesday, March 16th through Friday, March 19th noon to 4 pm.
Cost for the workshop is $30 for non-members and $25 for HCOA members.
