We will start with basic improv warm-ups and exercises which contain the building blocks for both short and long form ensemble improvisation. Then to building group story, playing with developing characters, and understanding the importance of saying Yes!. Spontaneity, patterns and game awareness as well as how to do a workable tonsillectomy are woven through everything we do.......

Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 (includes 20 minute coffee break).

We will review and scaffold on what we learned on Saturday, focus on 2 and 3 person scenes and games, edits and entries, group story telling formats. We will try to follow the interests of the students and go as far as the class is able to in the time we have. Participants will learn improv exercises and games, character choices, spontaneity, group story building, beginning self and group awareness, 2-person scene work and short form games and long form patterns. You are in for hours of laughter, challenge, surprise, creativity and playful learning experience to take home and befuddle your housemates or pets or use on stage or at work.
